Robert Boyle joined the airline’s corporate finance department in 1993 from a previous career in management consultancy. He has held a range of senior management positions in the airline, joining the airline’s leadership team in 2004 as Director of Commercial Planning and holding the role of Commercial Director from 2006 until his appointment to the role of Director Strategy & Business Units at the start of 2009.
Robert is responsible for group strategy, planning and alliances and for the business units of Cargo, BA CityFlyer, OpenSkies, BA Holidays and the Mileage Company. He is also a trustee of the BA pension fund and chairman of its Investment Committee.
Robert studied mathematics at Cambridge University and has an MBA from INSEAD in France. He is married with three children.
